The girls’ rugby team at Coleg Sir Gâr have been kitted-out with brand new sportswear by Llanelli Town Council.

The new kit was unveiled and put to the test at Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens, one of the largest rugby tournaments in the UK.

Stephen Williams, curriculum head at Coleg Sir Gâr said: “It’s the first time the girls’ team has ever received a brand new kit so they are delighted that Llanelli Town Council has come on board to support their team.”

Llanelli Town Mayor, Councillor Bill Thomas, presented the girls with their new kit at the Graig campus, Llanelli.  He said: “We are thrilled to offer our support in the community by sponsoring the girls’ rugby academy at Coleg Sir Gâr and we wish them well in their team endeavours.”
